Warren H. Fong, MD - Your cancer specialist will be Warren H. Fong, MD. Dr. Fong received a broad and diversified education at UCLA, majoring in Economics. He attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City for his MD, Emory University and Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center for internal medicine; and then Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for his specialty in medical oncology.
Though he was groomed for a career at Memorial in developmental chemotherapy, his true love was taking care of people, and that is what he has been doing for the last 15 years. His commitment is to provide high level, high service, state of the art oncology and hematology, all the while maintaining the “family doctor” atmosphere. He treats his patients like an old friend.

Leigh Erin Connealy, MD, MPH - Patients at Oasis of Hope California receive amazing holistic support from Leigh Erin Connealy, MD, MPH who works in conjunction with Dr. Fong for the overall wellness of our patients.
Dr. Connealy received her Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas and her MD from the University of Chicago. She did her postgraduate training in family practice at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Connealy began practicing medicine in 1986. More and more of her patients started asking about alternative treatments and this prompted her to learn everything she could about nontoxic protocols. In 1992, she founded the Center for New Medicine in Irvine, California, where she serves as Medical Director. Her medical philosophy is firmly based in the belief that strictly treating health problems with medications does not find the root cause of the illness.

Leading up our education team is Dr. Francisco Contreras who is onsite weekly as a guest speaker. Dr. Francisco Contreras has been the director of the Oasis of Hope in Mexico since 1983. He provides a wealth of information in his sessions that empowers patients with information and tips that can help a person overcome cancer. Other educators include Dr. Jorge Barroso, MD, PHD, applied nutritionist Mark McCarty and nutritionist Liliana Partido. Daniel E. Kennedy, DBC, MC direct the emotional and spiritual support program.
