Visiting the Hospital

You are always welcomed to be a guest at Oasis of Hope and speak to one of our physicians about your medical history and our cancer treatments. We have always helped and encouraged all prospective patients to visit us. This is why we offer a free day visit to Oasis of Hope. We will provide you and one companion with meals, airport pick-up, and access to all educational classes. Please ask your health advisor for information about a free day visit to the Oasis of Hope.

Preparing For Your Visit

Prior to you arrival at the Oasis of Hope, we will e-mail, fax, or mail a personalized patient admissions packet. This packet contains helpful information including your treatment protocol, what to expect on your first day, airport pick-up information, visa requirements, services at the Oasis of Hope, general information, etc.

The following are suggestions for items to bring along:

• A companion, sufficient comfortable clothing, medication

The following is a list of documents our medical records department will request from your current physician, hospital and/or clinic:

• Medical history and discharge summary
• X-rays, MRI, CT scans
• Tumor marker reports
• Original pathology records, slides and reports
• Current laboratory reports
• Progress notes
