- 5 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped in half
- 1 ½ cup water
- 4 cups mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp avocado oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1tsp pink Himalayan salt
- 1 lemon (only juice)
- Place green beans into a large skillet and cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until beans start to soften, about 5 minutes. Drain water.
- Add avocado oil and garlic to green beans until garlic is tender and fragrant, 3 to 4 minutes, stir in mushrooms and cook another 5-7 minutes. Season with black pepper, salt and lemon.
