Here is a recipe for a quick and delicious side dish to complement your plate in a healthy way!




  • 5 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped in half
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • 4 cups mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 lemon (only juice)


  1. Place green beans into a large skillet and cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until beans start to soften, about 5 minutes. Drain water.
  2. Add avocado oil and garlic to green beans until garlic is tender and fragrant, 3 to 4 minutes, stir in mushrooms and cook another 5-7 minutes. Season with black pepper, salt and lemon.
