How the Therapy is Developed

The process begins when a sample of the patient’s tumor is obtained, either during surgery, biopsy, or from existing formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tumor blocks. These samples are carefully processed in our cGMP-compliant, ISO-certified laboratory to create a lysate—a preparation that contains a wide spectrum of tumor-associated antigens. These tumor antigens are then used to “pulse” the patient’s dendritic cells, which are derived from their blood. By loading dendritic cells with the tumor lysate, the therapy ensures that the patient’s immune system is educated to recognize the unique molecular characteristics of their own cancer.

How it Works in the Body

Once the dendritic cells have been primed with tumor lysate antigens, they are infused back into the patient. The cells migrate to lymph nodes, where they present the full range of tumor antigens to T lymphocytes. This stimulates the activation of cytotoxic T cells that can identify and destroy cancer cells throughout the body. Because the lysate contains multiple antigens, the therapy trains the immune system to recognize cancer from many different angles, making it more difficult for the tumor to escape detection through mutation or antigen loss. This broad-spectrum targeting reduces the likelihood of recurrence and strengthens long-term immune surveillance.
